A prominent landmark overlooking both Deerfoot Trail and 16th Avenue, Our Lady of Grace is served by the Religious Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception. Twenty-five years ago two parishes were amalgamated together; St. Andrew (Italian Parish) and St. Clement (English Parish). The parishioners of St. Andrew had simply outgrown their building and St. Clement was a temporary building made out of two army huts left over from World War Two. On September 8, 1985 on a beautiful hillside of the Belfast community, a new church was built, called “Our Lady of Grace”. This year, on October 2nd the parish will celebrate its 25th Anniversary.
At present the church serves Catholic families from all corners of the city of Calgary and celebrates mass throughout the week and weekends in both English and Italian. Rich in history, we provide relevant ministries and programs to everyone of all ages and life-stages.

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION: For information, please contact the parish office. It is expected that you be a regular practicing Catholic to receive all sacraments.
BAPTISM: Contact the Parish Office to make an appointment to see the Priest at least three months before the birth of the child. Baptism Preparation is Mandatory.
MARRIAGE: Marriages will be celebrated on Saturdays. Contact the parish office for an appointment with the priest nine ( 9 ) months before the proposed wedding date, or before any other arrangements are made. Marriage Preparation is Mandatory.
Please note that dates for Baptisms and Marriages are not set until after an interview with the Priest.
PASTORAL CARE: Contact the parish Office to have a Priest or Eucharistic Minister visit and/or bring Holy Communion to the sick and elderly at their home, hospital or nursing home.
ASSISTENZA PASTORALE: Ministero per gli ammalati, ed anziani. Mettersi in contatto con l’ufficio parrocchiale per richiedere la visita di un sacerdote o di un Ministro della Comunione.
COMPANIONS OF OUR LADY OF GRACE: Visits and gives spiritual support to the aged within the Parish, assists grieving families with funeral luncheons, maintains the obituary wall, and organizes the monthly Memorial Mass.
COMPAGNI DELLA MADONNA DELLE GRAZIE: Questo gruppo visita e porta l’Eucarestia agli ammalati e agli anziani della nostra parrocchia che sono in casa, o ricoverati nelle case di cura. Assistono le famiglie in lutto, organizzando il ricevimento dopo il funerale. Inoltre organiza la commemorazione mensile per pregare e ricordare tutti i cari defunti.
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: First Friday of every month – 9:30 am to 7:00 pm
