Ass’t. Pastor: Rev. Jimmy Puttananickal, CFIC
Fr. Jimmy Puttananickal was born October 21st 1976, in Nellippara, in the state of Kerala (India). He has four brothers and two sisters. Fr. Jimmy entered the Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception in 1992 and made his First Profession on Dec.8, 1996. He took his Perpetual Profession on Jan.4, 2003. Fr. Jimmy was ordained priest on Dec. 27, 2007. He was appointed as the local superior of the Provincial House in June 2007 for one year. Before being transferred to Our Lady of Grace Church, he had been working in a school in Cherupanathady, Keralal, which is run by the Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception. Fr. Jimmy holds also a Post-Graduation in Psychology.
Deacon: Dante Muzzo
Deacon Dante and his family emigrated from Italy to Canada in the winter of 1956. He attended catholic schools here in the city and is a member of St Joseph’ Parish. The Muzzo family was one of the first members of the Italian/Canadian faith community here in Calgary, which started at St. Paul’s Church with Fr. Angelo as its pas-tor. Dante has been a teacher and an education leader with various school jurisdictions throughout our province, but in particular with the Calgary Catholic Separate School Board and the Calgary Board of Education. Over the years, Deacon Dante has been involved in youth ministry, sacrament preparations, and liturgical celebrations. He has also served on a number of social awareness committees within the community.

Deacon Anthony Nguyen
Deacon Anthony Nguyen was born in June 11th 1965, in Quang Nam, Vietnam, in a distanced town called Thuong Duc. Deacon Anthony left Vietnam and arrived in Canada with his family in 1970. Throughout the years, despite some difficult challenges, he remained committed to his vocation and in 2005 joined the Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception. On Sunday Dec. 12, 2010 Deacon Anthony made his perpetual vows of “Poverty, Chastity and Obedience” during a mass celebrated by Fr. Ugo at The Epiphany of Our Lord Parish in Ontario. He was ordained Deacon on September 17, 2011.
Secretary: Terry Di Diodoro
“The church secretary can be like the hub of a wheel. All good things revolve around her well-organized, dependable, and caring center.” Terry plays a key role in welcoming people to the church. She answers the phones and takes messages for Father Ugo and Father Jimmy and provides support for all our ministry leaders; maintains church records; prepares for weddings, christenings and baptisms; organizes and prints bulletins, mailings; orders supplies and more! She exhibits the kind of caring attitude that helps fulfill our church’s mission.
Urbano is in charge of the articles used in worship in our beautiful church. These include robes, wine and bread and their containers (for use in communion), silverware (like the chalice), candles and candle holders, sanctuary lamps and so on. Each Sunday Urbano sets out the required items for the service (such as bread, wine and the chalice for Communion service) and clears away, cleans and stores the items. Urbano is responsible for the safe keep of all the vestments, vessels, books, etc . Not only is he charged with the care of the sacristy, Urbano is also in charge of managing the downstairs hall rentals. Always looking after our needs no matter the time or day, Urbano Geremia is a true gift to our parish.

Housekeeper: Maria Mancuso - Maria has served the Rectory as housekeeper and cook (aka Domestic Engineer) since 1994. Her presence at the Office extends the service which the Parish Team provides to all who visit. Her personal faith and her commitment to the Parish provide a genuine example of true dedication to our community. With her husband Angelo and their 3 children, Maria continues to be an active member of our Parish family. She is heavily involved in Sacramental Preparation, Faith studies such as the Alpha Course and well as our City View Fundraising Society!
Property Maintenance: Fred Underhill - Fred provides leadership in maintaining the church, residence, and hall buildings, facility, and property, as well as make recommendations to the Church body for handling problems related to the facilities and property. Fred’s is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and supervising all church property; reporting annually on the state of the Church’s property, equipment, investments, and resources; and submitting to the Committee on Finance, annual budget requests for property maintenance and improvements, etc. A member of the Knights of Columbus you will often see him flipping pancakes once a month downstairs. Fred is also a member of the Parish Council, serves as an Usher and never turns down an opportunity to be involved whenever he can.
Communications Dep’t/Webmaster: Silvana Dick (Giuriato) - Silvana is in charge of maintaining our parish website and working with various ministries and programs to provide marketing for informational handouts. Alongside the Communication Department, she ensures parishioners are informed and updated on events and happenings in the parish community. She has 20 years of marketing experience and brings to the parish an extensive knowledge of public relations, advertising and desktop publishing. In a twist from an old movie favourite, Silvana says God is always calling everyone home to his church. “Close your eyes and tap your heels together three times. And think to yourself, ‘There’s no place like home’. I am home.”
